Recap of the GAMIGRATION Multiplier Event in Spain: A Successful Showcase of Gamified Learning for Immigrant Inclusion

The GAMIGRATION project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, held a highly successful multiplier event on March 19, 2024, at the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Zamora. The event was dedicated to showcasing the project’s innovative approach to fostering the inclusion of immigrants in schools through gamified learning experiences.

Event Highlights:

  • 16:00-16:15Registration Attendees arrived and registered, receiving materials to guide them through the day’s activities.
  • 16:30-17:00Welcome Representatives from the University of Salamanca (USAL) officially opened the event with a presentation on the GAMIGRATION project. They provided an overview of the project’s goals, achievements, and the impact it aims to have on educational inclusivity.
  • 17:00-18:00Presentation and Interaction on the GAMIGRATION Platform The USAL team conducted a detailed demonstration of the GAMIGRATION platform. Participants had the opportunity to interact with the platform’s features and explore how it can be used to enhance the learning experiences of immigrant students.
  • 18:00-18:20Coffee Break A short intermission allowed attendees to network, share insights, and discuss the morning’s presentations.
  • 18:30-19:30Roundtable with Educators and Working Groups The event concluded with a dynamic roundtable discussion involving educators and participants. This session provided a platform for sharing experiences, discussing practical applications, and brainstorming ideas for implementing gamification strategies in education.
